To the Anglican Churches of

E The Holy Cross, Epperstone
G St Laurence, Gonalston
O St Peter & St Paul, Oxton
W St Swithun, Woodborough

We follow a regular service pattern except during Summer holidays and on special times during the Christian year.
Services on Sunday mornings generally commence at 9.30am (Epperstone & Woodborough) & 11.00am (Gonalston & Oxton)

Holy Communion always takes place each Sunday somewhere in the benefice.

Our regular Sunday Services:

Holy Communion E G O W

The principal service type across the benefice churches, but can have a different feel depending on the level of formality. This ranges from the quiet reverence of traditional wording in the 1662 Prayer Book through to the inclusive language and informality of a Family Communion Service.

All Age Worship E O W

A service where all the family can worship together and engage with the amazing things God does in our world. By its nature, this service is informal and sometimes noisy but always joyful.

Morning Prayer G W

A formal service that does not include the celebration and sharing of communion. The service format uses either the 1662 Prayer Book or the service pattern in current use by the Church of England.

Prayer & Reflection O

An informal service - a time to reflect on an aspect of God's word through bible reading, music and prayer.
