Sunday worship across the Benefice
Our Benefice has Holy Communion each week at one of its churches.
This service will be rotated around Woodborough, Epperstone and Oxton. Gonalston will remain closed.
Each service will follow all the necessary social distancing protocol as set out under the Church of England guidelines. This will include wearing face coverings, and implementing a Test and Trace system.
Numbers will be limited, on a first come, first served, basis and dependent on social distancing parameters.
Please worship at your own parish church, rather than visiting others.
The service pattern is
First Sunday: 8.00a.m St. Swithun’s, Woodborough (maximum 26)
Second Sunday: 10.00a.m St. Swithun’s, Woodborough (maximum 26)
Third Sunday: 10.00a.m The Church of the Holy Cross, Epperstone (maximum 24)
Fourth Sunday: 10.00a.m St. Peter & St. Paul, Oxton (maximum 24)
Please do not attend church if you have any symptoms of Covid-19
Private Prayer on Sunday
The churches at Epperstone, Oxton and Woodborough are open on Sundays, 10a.m –3.00p.m for private prayer.
These are unsupervised sessions for anyone who wants to spend some time in church for personal prayer and reflection.
Please respect other peoples’ silence and personal space, along with the instructions for social distancing and safety.
