Advent and Christmas Worship across the Benefice

The churches in Epperstone, Oxton and Woodborough are again open for public worship. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis with the exception of Christmas Day services (see below). Please use your own parish church rather than visiting others.

Please follow all the social distancing guidance when in church, including wearing a face covering and using hand sanitiser. Please do not visit church if you have any symptoms of Covid-19

Christmas Day

9.00a.m Holy Communion at Holy Cross, Epperstone (pre-booked attendance only, maximum numbers: 24)

9.00a.m Holy Communion at St. Swithun’s, Woodborough (pre-booked attendance only, maximum numbers: 26)

St. Laurence, Gonalston will remain closed.

Private Prayer on Sunday

The Church of the Holy Cross, Epperstone and St. Swithun’s, Woodborough are open for private prayer each Sunday, 10.00a.m -3.00p.m when there is no service taking place.

St. Peter and St. Paul, Oxton is open Wednesdays and Sundays for private prayer, 10.00a.m. -3.00p.m when there is no service taking place.

There are unsupervised sessions for anyone who wants to spend some time in church for personal prayer and reflection. Please respect other peoples’ silence and personal space, along with the instructions for social distancing and safety

Please do not visit any church if you have symptoms of Covid-19

Available 24 hours a day, it has been set up particularly for those unable to access online services during lockdown.
